Paula Shea

Paula Shea of Schenck High, East Millinocket, managed to rank second in her class of 89 with an average of 3.8 while maintaining an extremely active sports and organization schedule.

A four-year soccer standout, she was an All-State selection two years running, also an All-Eastern Maine choice and name most outstanding at the University of Maine soccer camp.

Shea captained both soccer and basketball at Schenck. She was Schenck's top defensive player as the Wolverines won Eastern Maine tournament honorable mention.

Also a four-year tennis player, she helped Schenck to the Eastern Maine Class B championship and state runner-up honors last spring as she won the Most Desire Award.

A member of the National Honor Society and the school's Gifted and Talented program, Paula received early acceptance at Bates College.
